Intended for Lou Ottens' birthday on June 21, this Google Doodle is a love letter to the Compact Cassette and cassette culture in general. The initial concept of the tape looping to spell 'Google' remains strong through the whole process of creation, and the boombox was added to create a layer of separation from the background.
